Professor Lena Zentner
Professor Lena Zentner studied mechanics and applied mathematics at the University of Kharkov in Ukraine. She earned her doctorate and habilitation at Technische Universität Ilmenau in Germany. Currently, she is a full professor of Mechanics of Compliant Systems at Technische Universität Ilmenau in Germany. She has many years of experience in modeling and design of compliant mechanisms and compliant actuators.
Professor Ashok Kumar Pandey
Professor Ashok Kumar Pandey is currently a Professor and the Head of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Before joining the Institute, he completed his master’ and PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and postdoctoral research from Israel Institute of Technology, Technion, Haifa. During his PhD, he spent six months in the Mechanical Engineering Department at National University of Singapore towards development of characterization setup for MEMS torsional mirrors under different ambient conditions. The related published work was awarded with Hetenyi Award 2010 by the Society of Experimental Mechanics, USA. He was the convener for nanoscience and nanotechnology for IITH-JICA friendship project since its inception till 2019 and also an officiating Dean, Academics at Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai until 2021. He has initiated and coordinated two major interdisciplinary master’s program in Integrated Sensors System and Electrical Vehicle Technology at IIT Hyderabad. He has conducted several workshops in the area of MEMS and vehicle dynamics, and organized an international conference under the aegis of IFToMM. He introduced flip teaching in some of his courses for which he received the best teaching award by IIT Hyderabad in 2012. His primary area includes linear and nonlinear vibration, multiphysics modeling of different phenomena in MEMS resonant devices, vehicle and tire dynamics. He has published over 180 journal and conference papers, and given several invited talks. He has coedited a book on the proceedings of 6th International conference on microactuator, microsensor and micromechanisms
Professor Tokohito Ono
Professor Tokohito Ono received the Dr. Eng. degree from Tohoku University in 1996.
From 1996 to 2001, he was a Research Associate with the Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, where he was an Associate Professor from 2001 to 2009. He was a Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo from 2013 to 2016. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, where he is the Co-Director of the Micro System Integration Center, and director, MicroNanomachining Research Education Center, Tohoku University. His research interests include micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), nanoelectromechanical systems, silicon-based nanofabrication, ultrasensitive sensing based on resonating device, MEMS-LSI integration, and optomechanical devices. He is an Executive Committee of The Electrochemical Society (ECS), USA, editorial board, Nature Microsystems & Nanoengineering, and editorial board, Institute of Physics (IOP), Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering.
Kyeong-Sik Min

Kyeong-Sik Min received the B.S. degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Korea, in 1991, and the M.S.E.E. and Ph. D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 1993 and 1997, respectively. In 1997, he joined Hynix Semiconductor Inc., where he was engaged in the development of low-power and high-speed DRAM circuits. From 2001 to 2002, he was a research associate at University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, where he designed low-leakage memories and low-leakage logic circuits. In September 2002, he joined the faculty of Kookmin University, Seoul, Korea, where he is currently a Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering. He was a visiting professor at University of California, Merced, from Aug. 2008 to July 2009. Prof. Min has served on many organizing and technical program committees such as ASSCC, ASICON, ISOCC, AICAS, ISCAS, KCS, etc. He and his students received IDEC CAD & Design Methodology Award (2011), IDEC Chip Design Contest Award (2011), and IDEC Chip Design Contest Award (2012). In addition, he received Distinguished Service Award from Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KSIA), Oct. 2023. He served as President of Institute of Korean Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IKEEE), 2022 and Chairperson of SoC Research Group in Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE), 2021. He received Award of Excellence in Academy-Industry R&D Cooperation from Mayor of Seoul City, 2021 and Grand Prize in Haedong Best Paper Award, IEIE, Journal of Semiconductor Technology and Science (JSTS), 2020. And he received Distinguished Service Award from Ministry of Science and ICT of Korean Government, 2020. He has been a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since 2002. His research interests include memory, analog, and neuromorphic circuits.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Dr. Himansu S. Nanda
Dr. Himansu S. Nanda received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering (Biomaterials) from international graduate school of National Institute for Materials Science, Tsukuba, Japan (Ranked 12th among top 25 Global Innovators: Government lab by Clarivate Analytics (2017), Thomson Reuters). He did his post-doctoral training in Nanomedicine from Department of Materials sciences and Engineering, KAUST Saudi Arabia (Ranked 19th in the world among the fastest rising universities for high quality research output by Nature Index Rising Stars 2016). He was a post doctoral research fellow at School of Materials Sciences and Engineering, NTU Singapore (ranked 11th in the world and 1st in Asia in the latest 2020 QS World University Rankings), where he was working jointly with Singapore General Hospital on clinical grade tissue adhesives. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor Grade-1 in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur, India. He was a visiting professor under “Belt and Road Program” at College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) and a visiting scientist at Sate Key laboratory of Molecular Engineering of Polymers, Fudan University, China. He was a coordinator for BUCT summer Camp on Science and Technology Innovation held at Beijing in summer 2019. He is the guest editor for the special issues “Biomaterials:Future of Biomaterials 2021” and "Intelligent Biomaterials 2023" in Journal Current Opinion in Biomedical Engineering (Elsevier) and "Biodegradable Polymers for Biomedical Applications vol -I and vol -II" in Journal Frontier in Materials. Dr. Nanda is currently heading the Biomedical Engineering and Technology Laboratory at IIITDM Jabalpur. He is a young and well-known expert in the field of Biomaterials having effective research collaboration with the global leaders in the field.
Dr. Sajid Hussain Siyal

Dr. Sajid Hussain Siyal is currently working as Chair of the Department of Metallurgy and Material Engineering, Dawood University of Engineering and Technology Karachi since Nov 2020.
Dr. Sajid Hussain Siyal joined the Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, as lecturer (May, 2009), soon after his graduation in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro. He completed his Masters in Materials Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Advanced Composite Center, State Key Laboratory of Organic-Inorganic composites, Beijing University of Chemical Technology in December 2019. Dr. Sajid Siyal published more than 50 research Articles.
Research Areas: Solid state electrolytes for energy storage devices, Inorganic Fillers for Polymers, Smart materials, High performance materials and lithium ion batteries (Energy Storage Devices).
